Housing assumption adjustments shows manual changes applied to the population in dwellings. These come from council input.

Each adjustment can change the number of people living in each dwelling type. This affects total population through average household size.

An assumption with its own average household size changes the area's average for its dwelling type from then on. So a forecast with the assumption drifts away from one without it in later years. This is by design: the new dwellings change what future housing in the area looks like.
