Structure shows the split between detached and medium or high density private dwellings. This page only covers private dwellings. Detached means a house on its own. Medium or high density covers flats, units, and townhouses.
The figures come from Census data put out by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
From the jump-off year on, structure rates are carried forward and applied to the total private dwelling count.
