Redirected from SA2
A statistical area 2 (SA2) is an ABS standard region roughly the size of a suburb. Most SA2s have between 3,000 and 25,000 people. The ABS publishes a range of data at this level, including Census counts and population estimates.
SA2s are made up of SA1s, which in turn are made up of mesh blocks. They nest inside SA3s and SA4s, which Place Forecast does not use.
