The component total forecast dataset is an axiomatic dataset. It holds yearly counts of people moving in and out of each statistical area 2. The counts cover both internal moves and overseas moves. The values come from the ABS Regional population release. Place Forecast uses them as control totals for projected in-migration and out-migration.
